On Saturday night we decided to check out the wedding venue and then on Sunday with limited snow options, we decided to check out some skiing in the old burn in Kootenay park. The touring was nice, but the skiing was less than desirable. Here's hoping for a big dump (of snow) this week.

Better to save the skins from dirty road gravel.Two years ago we tried to go to Jumbo pass for a ski trip, however, ironically, it snowed too much. Not to much chance of that happening this season. So on early Thursday morning we packed up the Storck wagon and headed west to the Invermere Tim Hortons and then further west in search of epic pow at Jumbo pass.
