Beautiful Burstall

The past two Saturdays we have ski toured up to Burstall Pass in Kananaskis Country. Last weekend we took Scott, Jos brother on his first backcountry outing. He did pretty well for a first timer. A small amount of psychological damage was done, but nothing that should leave any permanent scars.

This past Saturday, we decided to celebrate the coming of summer (although you wouldnt know it if you stayed within Calgary city limits) by carting a BBQ to the top of Burstall and having a snag and a beer in the snow. As it turned out, we had a perfect day.
