First tracks (for us)

Well.....its December, the Xmas tree is up, theres snow in the city, guess its time to go skiing.....

On the way up the shoulder of Observation Peak (after a nice bush wack).

Sun ring and forks. Apparently the ring is caused by ice crystals within cirrus clouds that refract the light causing the ring around the sun, or so scientists would have us believe.........

Hot tea to defrost the esophagus (esophagii plural?)
